Hired to guide Spire’s story from start-up to IPO. Set the precedent for brand, content and community building. As a team of 3, I directed, managed, or drove fundamental brand and marketing initiatives now executed by 26 communications, brand, marketing, and content creators.

  • Led or influenced the establishment of multiple teams, serving many different functions, including PR & Communications, Brand & Creative, Content Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Demand Gen. Headcount increased 3 to 25 in thirty months.

  • Individual contributions include creating and iterating brand & events assets, press & content material, published editorial letters, social media, web design, video editing, thought leadership writing, ad campaigns, and social media. Organic social engagement rate 7x greater than B2B benchmarks.

  • Managed projects for brand development, brand marketing, video production, website design and analytics, internal communications. Y/Y ‘20/’21: +150% organic search increase, 6x greater video ad CTR than B2B benchmarks. Reduction of video ad cost-per-view by 45% vs B2B benchmarks.

  • Directed brand campaigns, thought leadership narratives, journalism-like blog series’, company vision presentations, department roadmaps and budgets, and IPO training. Annual Recurring Revenue: +50% Y/Y.

Telltale & Game Development

Contracted to guide narrative design and story development for the blockchain/cryptocurrency metaverse platform. Also helped with marketing content as well as a user guide.

  • Led narrative design content for top-tier entertainment brands including The Walking Dead, Minecraft: Story Mode, Game of Thrones, and The Wolf Among Us which was nominated BAFTA "Best Story."

  • Developed a flexible workflow for 2-15 writers and designers, worked with C-staff and stakeholders. Minecraft Story Mode reached #2 in iOS App Store (Q4 2015).

  • Delivered production-quality designs with minimal revisions needed, led team meetings, with credited projects averaging over 1M downloads/copies sold.

  • Piloted company's first data integration program, collaborated with Analytics and Insights to present dynamic content to users based on recorded input
